Simply a Software is a Computer instruction or data to do a task. The variation chat referst to changes and applications where it requires. The diffrent types of softwares in different areas are used.

- System software – Includes the Operating System(OS) and all the utilities that enable the computer function
- Application software – Includes programs that do real work for users. Examples, Word Processors, spread sheets, and database management systems.
